I found a little problem with the sign-up page, so I had to remove it temporarily. I apologize if you were trying to sign up and were unable to.
Don’t give up on us yet. I will have it back up shortly.
Well, it has been a long time coming, and hard work to get it here, but net at hand is up and running on its new server and is pretty much feature complete.
Now when I say “feature complete,” I mean that everything that is going to be there at the beginning is there and working well. There are still many things to include (like the complete help site). But everything is working well.
I am going to take a, much needed, break from feature adding and start putting some sites on net at hand that have been sitting and waiting for net at hand.
Also, there is this “small” matter of the company that I need to get moving because it is going to be a little while before net at hand has enough users to put a loaf of bread on the table.
Net-at-hand is starting to settle down a little bit.
I have been building this thing at such a mad pace, it has been hard to keep track of how everything is working (or not).
Most of the issues that I know about are taken care of and working well. If you are experiencing any problems, click on the “contact support” button and let me know what issue you are having. I will work to get it resolved quickly.
The next couple of days will be devoted to fleshing out the help for each page. At this point, the only feature that is not yet functioning is the search box. But that should be implemented by the end of the week.
Mark has been developing net-at-hand since August, 2006. It has been a fun time, but hard on the family.
Beta testing has begun and we will be going live soon. There are several sites that are going to be run on net-at-hand, and we hope that you will consider using it for yours.
This is a limited beta so you will need an invitation code to sign up. If you are interested in being a beta tester, you can send us an email at support(at symbol)net-at-hand.com.
